Wet Weather

In the event of wet weather, the procedure for notification of cancelled fixtures/training is as follows.

Fixtures

  1. WDNA will decide if the netball games are to be cancelled, at least 1 hour before the first fixture is due to commence and will notify the Club. 

  2. The Raiders Netball Club Secretary will contact via text or phone call the Raiders Netball Club:
    President;
    Vice President;
    Treasurer;
    Umpire Coordinator; and
    Junior/Senior (as appropriate to time) Coaching Coordinators.

  3. The Coaching Coordinator/s will contact via text or phone call the relevant Coach or Team Manager in their age group.

  4. The Coach or Team Manager will be responsible to contacting via text or phone call their players or parents of players (as appropriate). 

  5. The Umpire Coordinator will be responsible for contacting via text or phone call all umpires or parents of umpires (as appropriate). 

  6. The Treasurer will be responsible for contacting via text or phone call the Social Media Coordinator, who will then post accordingly on the Raiders Netball Club Facebook page.

Training

The decision to cancel training due to inclement weather is made by each individual Coach. Should a practice session be cancelled, you will be contacted by your Coach or Team Manager by text or phone call (not email)Please do not ever assume that a training session has been cancelled due to bad weather as your Coach may decide to utilise the undercover areas to practiceAlso, it may not be raining at Graceville even it is raining where you are.
