Junior Coach Development Program

Raiders Netball Club offers a Junior Coach Development Program (JCDP) to support the development of our aspiring coaches (turning 14 years and older) who can see themselves wanting to coach a team of their own one day. Raiders currently has the policy that a coach must be 18 years of age in order to coach a team. Therefore, coaches apart of the JCDP, will be given the opportunity to gain the required knowledge and experience, so that they are able to coach a team of their own, in the future. Our aspiring coaches from the JCDP will be placed with a more experienced coach of a Junior Raiders team, and will shadow and assist them at all training sessions and Saturday games. A team of experienced Coaching Mentors will also assist with the program.
